Land for the Future of our Children...

We now face a new challenge and possibly our biggest fund raising project yet. The land next door, 40 acres, has gone on the market. It would make a fantastic area for us to expand for the future of our children.

Our vision is to purchase the land and build a school, community centre (for future workshops to teach the children and community members trades, educational seminars etc) and a community playground and start farming as an income for the orphanage so we can make this mission sustainable.

Originally the owner offered to sell the land for $200,000 (AUD) but now we have some fantastic news for the future of MIA. Due to the recent political crisis in Kenya the value of land has decreased.  Our neighbour has reduced the price of the neighbouring 40 acres to $170,000 and we have been able to secure the land with the donations we have already received.

This may sound huge but I have begun to believe that anything is possible so here I go...

Mission in Action is asking people to buy their own part of our project...
~ If you purchase 100 square metres of land you will receive a certificate of land noting that you have purchased this for Mission in Action. Cost $106.25
~ If you purchase 1 acre your name will go on a plaque in the Community Centre that we will build on the land. Cost $4,250
~ Of course if you purchase the whole 40 acres we will name the community centre after you or your organization!!! Cost $170,000

If 1,600 people donate $106.25 each we can do this!
It sounds like a lot but when you think of the size of this great earth it can be done... Please don't disregard this project because you think it is too big... It can be done, but only with the help of everyone..
