If you would like to send any of the children gifts or send anything to us at the orphanage please do NOT register or insure any mail as it costs us at least US$20 in taxes at our end. We also request that you try to keep the weight less than 2 kg and always put a value of less than US$10 on the customs sticker for the same reason. Mark all parcels as being "second-hand goods" or "personal gifts". Please label all parcels clearly with the MISSION IN ACTION-NAKURU BABY ORPHANANGE . Keep in mind that parcels sent by mail can take up to 4 months to get here (seamail even longer!), so don't worry if it takes a while for us to let you know the parcel has arrived. Thank you |
